Vegetation on Kopaonik

Kopaonik contains extraordinary corectly changing of vegetation and it starts from willow-poplar-maple forests in the river valleys, through thermofils forests of black pine, groups of bitter oak i pomegranate, forests of hautboy andhornbeam, forests of and blackash and forests of hill beech, forests of oak (to 1100 masg), forests of beech and fir tree (to 1600 masg) in which juniper tree penetrates and dominates in the forests from 1550 to 1750 masg.

Above 1750 masg starts zone with bushy down juniper i blueberry with low subalps form of juniper tree and to the do alps mountain pasture on the 1950 masg.
